Bergama çüval, transport bag of nomadic origin from the region around Bergama (northwest Anatolia, Turkey), the Land of Troy in the Iliad. The region was known for its high quality wool and excellent weavers. Flatweave and soumak technique. Wool. Natural dyes. Given its age, well preserved, with some o repairs mainly at the corners. 60 x 114 cm. 19th century.
