A very attractive strand of glass beads of mixed colours, shapes and sizes, but all typical for the areas Iran / Afghanistan / Central Asia.
Although often thought to be ‘Roman glass’ they are earlier, dating between 1000 – 500 BC.
Well preserved. All showing a wonderful irisation. Mounted on a metallic wire with a contemporary silver Indian clasp. Length (without clasp) 440 mm, diameter beads from 4,5 to 14,8 mm. Weight 45 g.
