This very special torque, made by silversmiths who mastered the difficult technique of spiraling a silver wire, was worn by women belonging to the Rabari tribe in Gujarat, India. They called it ‘hasli’.
It measures 18,7 x 18,5 cm and weighs 402 gram. The top of the necklace bears a silver mark “B.V” . First half of the 20th century.
