Holding a kamandalu or water flask containing ‘amrita’, the elixir of life, as a symbolic promise of salvation in the future. His feet rest on a foot bench, while he is seated on a throne (see profile pics). Interesting are the traces of what looks to be a red colour, so this statue might have been painted (like the Greeks used to do)
