A small Indian brass statue of the Nandi bull represented on a plinth. The Nandi bull is the bearer of truth, the ‘vehicle’ and gate-keeper of the Hindu God Shiva (the Creator). The prolonged ritual use of the statue (e.g. rubbing, sacrificial offerings) reveal the old age of this bull: 18th century or older.
